This year, we installed our 12th Trumpf laser, which is our 3rd fiber laser. We’ve had positive experiences with fiber technology and find it critical to continue our strategy of re-investing our capital in one of our key core competencies. This provides us the ability to support our customers in an ever-changing landscape.
Our 12th laser, a Trumpf Laser Tru 1030 Fiber laser, supports our conveyor market segment. As our Director of Technical Services, Travis Knaub, noted, “Our new fiber laser provides speed advantages, while reducing our carbon footprint with lower electrical consumption.” All of this results in higher productivity & greater machine capacity, which yields the ability to process more jobs.
We are looking into adding a 10k Fiber machine, our 13th Trumpf laser machine, in October, 2019.
