    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Performing both Mig & Tig Welding applications daily.
    • Reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols
    • Welding Light Gauge Steel, Aluminum and working with Fixturing
    • Ensuring safety and quality guidelines are met.
    • Notify supervision of faulty equipment and/or defective materials
    • Determine and perform routine maintenance on equipment used.
    • De-bur and grind metal as necessary for proper surface texture.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities for success:

    • Thorough knowledge of both Mig and Tig Welding.
    • Thorough knowledge of Reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols.

    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and detail -oriented Laser/Punch Operator to join our

    manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating our

    Laser/Punch machines to produce high -quality components while ensuring

    adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong

    understanding of precision measuring instruments and the ability to work with

    various materials, including sheet metal.

    Duties:

    Operate laser cutting and punch machines to perform precise cuts on various materials, primarily sheet metal.

    Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.

    Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances.

    Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.

    Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

    Assist in tooling setup and adjustments as needed for different production runs.

    Support other manufacturing processes when necessary.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred.

    Strong understanding of basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

    Familiarity with CNC machinery and its operations is required.

    Experience in quality inspection processes to ensure product integrity.

    Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges.

    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications effectively.

    •  Set-up and operate vertical mill CNC machine.
    • Must be capable of utilizing common measurement devices to check part compliance to specifications and read blueprints.
    • Must be able to read drawings, including GD&T
    • Must be able to read micrometers, calipers, and other inspection devices.
    • Must be able to check parts for accuracy and quality against supplied drawings.
    • Setup experience preferred (not required)
    • Provides input to programmers on better ways to produce parts.
    • Responsible for production of multiple machines
    • Responsible for daily housekeeping of the work area including chip removal and machine internal cleanouts.
    • Assist with machine preventative maintenance as needed.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Utilizing measuring equipment calculations, and machines to ensure that the product has met all specifications, while meeting customer needs and expectations with quality
    • Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
    • Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines, as well as assemble metal fabricated parts on assembly lines.
    • Cleans and maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned. Performs miscellaneous jobs at the plant, as needed.
    • May be trained to act as forklift operator when normal operator is out.
    • Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.

    Required Skills/Abilities for success:

    • Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
    • Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner.

    • Ability to handle prolonged periods of standing and walking consistently.
    • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This will include lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping.

    • Knowledge of press brake operation and material limitations.
    • Performs operator daily maintenance of machine and tooling as required.
    • Knowledge of press brake tooling and tooling applications.
    • Responsible for setting up press brake tooling.
    • Responsible for programming the operation of a CNC press brake.
    • Capable of reading part drawings and understanding tolerance requirements.
    • Capable of setting ram pressure and adjustment to assure correct die clearance due to metal thickness as indicated by measurement devices.

    • The ability to read engineering prints is a must and expanded knowledge of GD&T is a plus.
    • CAD Experience.
