    Job Summary:

    The General Shop Laborer performs a variety of physical labor tasks.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • None.


    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.
    • Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.
    • Assist with assembly of metal fabricated parts on assembly lines.
    • Cleans and maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned.
    • Performs miscellaneous jobs at the plant, as needed.
    • May be trained to act as forklift operator when normal operator is out.
    • Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.


    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
    • Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner.
    • Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed.
    • Ability to work in a variety of roles.


    Education and Experience:
    • Previous labor experience preferred.
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to handle prolonged periods of standing and walking consistently.
    • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This will include lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping.
    • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds consistently.
    • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with a manufacturing plant.

    Function:

    Prepare and operate the Laser machine to fabricate product according to specifications. Utilizing measuring equipment to ensure that the product has met all specifications.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Receives work instruction, prints, and routers for jobs.
    2. Utilizes measuring devices daily to check and verify accuracy of work.
    3. Knowledge of laser machine operation and material limitations.
    4. Performs operator daily maintenance of machine and tooling as required.
    5. Capable of reading part drawings and understanding tolerance requirements.
    6. Monitor quality and maximize output of product
    7. Willingness to work in all areas of the warehouse
    8. Perform other duties as assigned


    Qualifications:

    1. Excellent knowledge and proven work experience in Manufacturing environment
    2. Effective time management skills
    3. Strong attention to detail
    4. Ability to utilize measuring devices


    Working Conditions:

    1. Ability to stand for more than 4 hours at a time.
    2. Ability to lift up to 50lbs
    3. Ability to work in hot/cold warehouse environment

    Function:
    Set-up and operate CNC machine. Must be capable of utilizing common measurement devices to check part compliance to specifications and read blue prints.

    Responsibilities:

    • Must be able to read drawings, including GD&T
    • Must be able to read micrometers, calipers, and other inspection devices
    • Must be able to check parts for accuracy and quality against supplied drawings
    • Provides input to programmer on better ways to produce parts
    • Responsible for the production of 3 machines
    • Responsible for daily housekeeping of the work area including chip removal and machine
    internal cleanouts
    • Assist with machine preventative maintenance as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

    Function:
    An intricate member of the production team, fabricating quality parts, while fulfilling our customers’ needs and meeting their product specifications in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities:

    • Performing both Mig & Tig Welding applications daily.
    • Reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols
    • Welding Light Gauge Steel, Aluminum and working with Fixturing
    • Ensuring safety and quality guidelines are met
    • Notify supervision of faulty equipment and defective materials
    • Determine and perform routine maintenance on equipment
    • De-bur and grind metal as necessary for proper surface texture
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Thorough knowledge both Mig & Tig Welding applications
    • Thorough knowledge of blueprints and weld symbols
    • 1 year or more of both Mig and Tig Welding experience

    • Knowledge of press brake operation and material limitations.
    • Performs operator daily maintenance of machine and tooling as required.
    • Knowledge of press brake tooling and tooling applications.
    • Responsible for setting up press brake tooling.
    • Responsible for programming the operation of a CNC press brake.
    • Capable of reading part drawings and understanding tolerance requirements.
    • Capable of setting ram pressure and adjustment to assure correct die clearance due to metal thickness as indicated by measurement devices.
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of operating press brake controls
