Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing measuring equipment calculations, and machines to ensure that the product has met all specifications, while meeting customer needs and expectations with quality
  • Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
  • Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines, as well as assemble metal fabricated parts on assembly lines.
  • Cleans and maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned. Performs miscellaneous jobs at the plant, as needed.
  • May be trained to act as forklift operator when normal operator is out.
  • Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.

Required Skills/Abilities for success:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
  • Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed. Ability to work in a variety of roles.

  • Previous labor in manufacturing experience required.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to handle prolonged periods of standing and walking consistently.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This will include lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping.

Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the buildings.

Responsible for supplies in restrooms such as toilet paper, paper towels, etc.

Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and break rooms.

Performs limited grounds maintenance such as picking up trash.

Maintains a neat and orderly janitors’ room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.

Sweeps floors in restrooms, break rooms, and manufacturing areas.

Responsible for emptying trash into larger receptacle.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to keep the facility clean and orderly. Detail-oriented and thorough.

Education and Experience:

  • Welding Light Gauge Steel, Aluminum and working with Fixturing

  • Notify supervision of faulty equipment and/or defective materials
  • Determine and perform routine maintenance on equipment used.
  • De-bur and grind metal as necessary for proper surface texture.

  • Knowledge of punch press operation and material limitations.
  • Performs operator daily maintenance of machine and tooling as required.
  • Knowledge of punch press tooling and tooling applications.
  • Responsible for setting up punch press tooling.
  • Responsible for programming the operation of a CNC punch press.
  • Capable of reading part drawings and understanding tolerance requirements.
  • Capable of setting ram pressure and adjustment to assure correct die clearance due to metal thickness as indicated by measurement devices.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that estimated projects align with the manufacturing processes required after receipt of Purchase Orders. This role is critical in providing the Operations team with all necessary information to initiate manufacturing efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review project estimates to ensure all technical data, including revision level, part/drawing numbers, materials, hardware, scope, etc., are accurately documented and accounted for prior to Purchase Order acceptance.

Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer quality requirements, ensuring they are clearly understood, documented, and communicated to internal teams.

Assist the Order Entry team in generating routers in the ERP system.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Operations, on specifications and resolving discrepancies.

Develop manual routers to support specific aspects of the business.
