Precision Cut Industries (PCI) announced a 15,000 SQ FT expansion to its existing 9,000 SQ FT curtain wall facility. The additional manufacturing space will support the companies continued growth in this market segment. PCI anticipates breaking ground June 2021 with completion projected by years’ end.
Expansion will improve flow and throughput of the curtain wall products it manufactures and assembles. “The additional space will give us the ability to scale our expertise in building more metal-based curtain wall assemblies for our existing customers, as well as new customers,” said Shonna Sites, Vice President of Operations. PCI’s metal-fabricated curtain wall assemblies are ultimately installed into large high rises across the country.
This expansion comes on the heels of a recent two-phase expansion of their main facility in late 2019. PCI attributes much of the growth to its dedicated and skilled employees, coupled with innovative technology and strong manufacturing processes. “Great employees, new and innovative technology, and strong quality processes have provided us the fortunate opportunity to grow in a consistent and scalable manner,” said Brian Greenplate, CEO/President.
