What is ISO 9001?

ISO 9000 is a series of standards, developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), that define, establish, and maintain a quality assurance system for manufacturing and service industries. The standards are available through national standards bodies. ISO 9000 deals with the fundamentals of quality management systems, including the eight management principles upon which the family of standards is based. ISO 9001 deals with the requirements that organizations wishing to meet the standard must fulfill.

PCI maintains a quality assurance system that meets the minimum level requirements defined by ISO 9001. We meet these standards through a rigorous series of audits that meet or exceed the published standards ISO sets for this quality assurance in our manufacturing process. Our level of expertise is proven with the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Certification and our procedures are documented according to the ISO specifications.

Renewed every year, PCI undergoes an ISO Audit which confirms that we are adhering to the quality assurance standards set forth for the certification standards for Quality Management. We prepare and test for the certification audit to ensure our manufacturing systems and management are conforming with the minimum standards for the ISO 9001 Certification.

This ensures our customer is receiving the best possible manufactured products based on the Quality Management Principles that the International Standards Organization has set for our process.

Precision Cut Industries in South Central Pennsylvania in the town of Hanover. They are a leader in using lasers to precision cut manufacturing materials as well as providing a full range of bending and welding services. They are also well versed in lean manufacturing, and are able to provide some of the quickest turnaround times in the industry. They have a particular expertise in renewable energy, agriculture, construction and food & beverage industries.
