ISO 14000

ISO 14000 is a family of standards related to environmental management that exists to help organizations

(a) minimize how their operations (processes, etc.) negatively affect the environment (i.e., cause adverse changes to air, water, or land);

(b) comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements, and

ISO 14000 is similar to ISO 9000 quality management in that both pertain to the process of how a product is produced, rather than to the product itself. As with ISO 9000, certification is performed by third-party organizations rather than being awarded by ISO directly. The ISO audit standard applies when auditing for both 9000 and 14000 compliance at once.

Environmental Management

The International standard for environmental management ensures that we are properly adhering to all environmental guidelines relative to how we conduct business and how we dispose of waste from our factory and production processes.

ISO 14001

During the course of producing our manufacturing components, whether through laser cutting, welding or bending, we’re ensuring that we are compliant with the International standard regulations set forth in the ISO 14001 Certification.

PCI maintains a high quality of environmental management that meets the minimum level requirements defined by ISO 14001. We meet these standards through a rigorous series of audits that meet or exceed the published standards ISO sets for this quality assurance in our manufacturing process. Our level of expertise is proven with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification and our procedures are documented according to the ISO specifications.

14001 Auditor

Renewed every year, PCI undergoes an ISO Audit which confirms we are adhering to the quality assurance standards set forth for the certification standards for Environmental Management. We use Hartford Steam Boiler as our 14001 auditor for process and certification.

This ensures our environmentally conscious customers are receiving the best possible manufactured products which do not harm the environment in the process. This is our commitment to quality and we continue to strive to maintain the highest standards set forth by ISO with the 14001 Environmental Management Certification.

Precision Cut Industries in South Central Pennsylvania in the town of Hanover. They are a leader in using lasers to precision cut manufacturing materials as well as providing a full range of bending and welding services. They are also well versed in lean manufacturing, and are able to provide some of the quickest turnaround times in the industry. They have a particular expertise in renewable energy, agriculture, construction and food & beverage industries.
